“Consecrated”: physical theatre, acrobatics, drama and humor at the closing of the Cultural Festival
With a performance starring former Argentine National Team gymnast Gabi Parigi, the ITESO festival activities conclude this Thursday, October 29, at the Pedro Arrupe, SJ Auditorium.
ITESO Editorial Team
Within the framework of the twenty-fourth edition of the University Cultural Festival (FCU), and under the premise of Inhabiting the body, the ITESO Cultural Promotion Center invites the university community and the general public to the closing performance with the play Consagrada, the failure of success .
Starring former Argentine National Team gymnast Gabi Parigi and directed by Flor Micha, the production blends physical theater, dance, acrobatics, drama, and humor to tell a moving story about the highs and lows of high-performance sports. Through memories, laughter, and moments of profound empathy, the piece invites us to reflect on sacrifice, resilience, mental health, and the ability to transform our own experiences.
Recognized in 2022 by the Buenos Aires City Legislature and winner of the 2023 María Guerrero Awards, Consagrada promises a festival closing full of sensitivity, skill and connection with the audience.
