Intended audience
The route is open to all ITESO professors and teaching coordinators in the Engineering and Natural and Social Science areas; professors from Administrative areas might find the course useful if they are interested in formal academic publishing.
Requirements
Participants wishing to take the route must demonstrate their mastery of English with a score of 550 or higher on the Institutional TOEFL test, or its equivalent. If you wish to take the route but you do not have an official record of your English level, you can take a test at ITESO's Language Lab.
Duration and timetable
The route involves approximately 8 hours of work a week.
The route starts on August 15, and finishes on December 5.
Purpose
To develop academic and professional writing skills in English pertinent to the genres used in the engineering and science fields, and by extension, for academic publishing in the social and administrative sciences.

If you wish to take the route and you already have your official ITP TOEFL score record with 550 or higher, sign up by sending an email to alisonc@iteso.mx. Recent scores (less than two years old) on the TOEFL IBT or the Cambridge FCE, CAE or CPE exams are also acceptable.
